For Jeremy Worthy, plumbing is more than a trade. It’s something he grew up around. Born and raised right here in Alexander City, Jeremy was introduced to plumbing at an early age, helping his father, who owned his own plumbing company, whenever he could. What started as a young boy tagging along and lending a hand eventually grew into a career of his own.
After graduating from Benjamin Russell High School in 1998, Jeremy continued learning the trade as an apprentice under his father. Today, with more than 20 years of experience as a Master Plumber, he carries forward not only the skills his father taught him, but also the work ethic and commitment to doing things right that were passed down to him.
Alexander City and the surrounding communities aren’t just where Jeremy works. This is home. He and his wife, Donette, are raising their four children, Rylie, Charleigh, Blakely, and Wyatt, right here in the community that raised him.
That connection is a big part of how Worthy Plumbing and Construction does business. When we serve a customer, we know there’s a good chance we’re serving a friend, a neighbor, or someone we’ll see around town. Our name is on every job we do, and we believe that name should stand for quality work, honest service, and treating people right.
We also believe in giving back to the community that supports us. We’re honored to support our local schools, including several teams and programs at Benjamin Russell and Horseshoe Bend.

Yep, There’s a Story Behind the Basset Hound.
Meet Junior.
Meet Junior, Jeremy’s six year old basset hound and, if you ask anyone in the Worthy house, Jeremy’s favorite “child.” And yes, Jeremy even has a photo album on his phone dedicated entirely to Junior.
The Worthy Plumbing and Construction basset hound actually started as a joke. Jeremy’s wife, Donette, created the logo featuring Junior, thinking it would be something funny to show him. Well… the joke was on her because Jeremy loved it. And just like that, Junior became the unofficial face of Worthy Plumbing.
These days, Junior takes his position as CEO and brand model very seriously. His responsibilities mostly include supervising the crew, keeping everyone on track, and taking plenty of beauty naps so he’s always ready for a photo op. He may not know much about plumbing, but around here, he’s definitely the boss.
